The garden

Imagine yourself in this serene garden listening to the sounds of chirping finches and cooing doves. The patio offers a landscaped perennial garden with tulips in the early spring, yellow and red roses in the early summer, and the lush greens of shrubbery and ivy. There is a masonry barbeque grill, with outdoor flood lighting for year-round outdoor grilling.

When the sun gets a little warm, sit under the deck to cool off or step through the sliding doors into the Jacuzzi, a 4 person heated whirlpool spa tub. The spiral staircase leads up to the parlor level deck off the kitchen. Music from the entertainent center in the kitchen can be channelled to outdoor speakers under the deck or to the speakers in the jacuzzi room.

The library

The back bedroom is used as a library. It features built-in shelving, a decorative mantel where a fireplace was once situated, and a ceiling fan that keeps this cool room very comfortable in the summers. When necessary, the wall air conditioner can cool you off after playing in the garden. Sliders lead to the garden and a side door leads to the jacuzzi room and bathroom.

The office

A south-facing bay window lets the sun into the front bedroom. The room is presently used as a large office that easily holds 2 desks and a full-sized futon. Convert it to a bedroom and fit in a king-sized bed with a lot of room to spare. There are 2 phone lines installed in the room and double doors leading to the exposed brick hallway. Sliders lead to the large laundry room which is equipped with California closets including a bureau with a lockable jewelry drawer.
