Interesting looking application that will hopefully be available for iPhone users in the future. Uses sound recorded from the mic and accelerometer feedback to create sounds and music that is in sync with your environment.

I can't imagine this would be any good on a 2G connection, but if you have the 3G, this might be handy. I used to use my Palm as a modem occasionally, and it was decent for email.

Mobile phone service Stitcher provides a selected list of news feeds that are read to you. The production quality of this service is very good, and works well for iPhone users. Sign up, and Stitcher sends you a link to their IUI interface in Safari for the iPhone. When you find the feed you want to read, you click on a link to play the Quicktime file in your browser, and someone starts reading you a summary of the news from sites including TechCrunch and Wall Street Journal.

Another Chris Pirillo Live video, this time with Pirillo talking to Robert Scoble about the iPhone. Scoble says, "It lives up to the hype. ... It is better in every single respect than any other phone I've used.

A few people in my office have em and I've played around with the UI a while at an AT&T store. Clearly this lives up to expectations for the first release. But I'll bet dollars to donuts that the next release is going to kill even more, and that's when I'll be considering the switch.

Interesting discussion at 21:40 about SlingBox and the general issue of allowing third party applications to be allowed on the iPhone.
