Sumo Bean Bag Chair

I've been looking at Sumo's Bean Bag Chairs for a while and have finally acquired the big Omni. I've wanted a bean bag chair because having a kid has greatly increased the time I spend sitting on the floor rather than on proper furniture. My son doesn't mind sitting on the hard ground as much as I do--man, I'm getting old.

I love this thing. A lot of my time in our living room lately is spent on the floor playing board games, video games, or drawing. I've been using little meditation cushions or our Moroccan pouf chairs to keep my bones off the hard wood of the floors. I've often wanted something bigger and more comfortable. This enormous bean bag is just right.

My son and I have been really digging this thing for playing Game Cube and plopping in front of the TV (now I get why they're advertised in Wired). Depending on how small you are, I can imagine a quite a few kids sitting on this at once. Will make for fun seating when his friends come over.

When it's on it's side, it's the perfect seat for watching TV or gaming. I mold it by setting in on the side and pushing a bowl into the seam on top. When it's a big square on the floor, it makes an awesome little bed--sort of like one of those huge doggie beds, but for people. The only downside is now whenever I settle into it, I feel a nap coming on. :)

Thanks for the hint with Sumo's. I was looking for something like that for a while, but couldn't find such a bag chair. The omni chair looks perfect. I just ordered one in red and I'm really excited now to get this bag chair.
